A 58ª edição do Grammy será realizada nesta segunda-feira (15/2) no Staples Center, em Los Angeles, nos Estados Unidos. O destaque da festa de 2016 é o rapper Kendrick Lamar, que possui 11 indicações, a categorias como disco do ano, melhor música e álbum de rap. A entrega dos prêmios mais importante da música está marcada para as 23h (horário de Brasília).

Muitos shows ocorrerão durante a premiação. Adele, Alabama Shakes, Justin Bieber e Jack Ü (do Diplo e Skrillex), Kendrick Lamar, Rihanna, Taylor Swift e The Weeknd, serão destaques da noite.

Lady Gaga fará um tributo a David Bowie, que em janeiro de 2016 morreu aos 69 anos. Os integrantes remanescentes do Eagles subirão ao palco ao lado de Jackson Browne para fazer uma homenagem a Glenn Frey, um dos fundadores da banda que morreu em janeiro deste ano aos 67 anos.

As apresentações estarão por conta de Cam, Stephen Colbert, Common, James Corden, Kaley Cuoco, Selena Gomez, Ariana Grande, Ice Cube, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Anna Kendrick, Seth MacFarlane, Ryan Seacrest, Ed Sheeran e Sam Smith.

O músico brasileiro, Gilberto Gil concorre na categoria de melhor álbum de World Music pelo disco Gilbertos Samba ao Vivo e Eliane Elias, que concorre com Made In Brazil, ao prêmio de melhor álbum de jazz latino.
