Nesta terça-feira (28), as indicações para o Emmy 2020 foram divulgadas. A premiação prestigia as melhores séries de TV e de plataformas de streaming do ano, e já está em sua 72ª edição.

A minissérie Watchmen da HBO lidera a lista de indicados do Emmy, com 26 categorias, incluindo Melhor Minissérie, Melhor Ator em Série limitada ou filme para TV, para Jeremy Irons, Melhor atriz em série limitada ou filme para TV, para Regina King, entre outras. A comédia The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel está em segundo lugar, com 20 indicações.

A cerimônia de entrega será em 20 de setembro, o anfitrião da cerimônia, Jimmy Kimmel, comentou sobre o evento “Não sei onde faremos isto ou como faremos ou inclusive porque estamos fazendo isto, mas estamos fazendo e vou apresentá-lo”, disse em um comunicado em 16 de junho.
